Our Airstream has Dexter Nev-R-Lube axles, which require a break inspection every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Having never removed the Nev-R-Lube hubs, it took me several hours of research to figure out how to remove the reinstall the hubs. I put this video together to explain how to remove the hubs to inspect the brakes. If you are a do-it-yourselfer and you have these Dexter axles, then hopefully this video will save you some time!

THANK YOU for this video. We have been searching for a video on the hub removal. We need to replace our brakes and your video showed us how to take off the hub to get to the brakes. Kinda of wondering if should do it ourselves as we need tools we don’t have.
What size socket is the castle nut?
It is a 1 5/16″ socket
