ProPride Bearing Water Intrusion Fix

We use the Propride P3 anti-sway hitch on our 30′ Airstream trailer to mitigate sway. The hitch is awesome at eliminating sway, but it does have one flaw that can cause the bearings to rust. Water can get into the bearings from the top dust caps, causing rust and corrosion. This video show how water can affect the P3 hitch and a simple solution I found to keep the water out. Dexter Nev-R-Lube Hub Removal

Our Airstream has Dexter Nev-R-Lube axles, which require a break inspection every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Having never removed the Nev-R-Lube hubs, it took me several hours of research to figure out how to remove the reinstall the hubs. I put this video together to explain how to remove the hubs to inspect the brakes. If you are a do-it-yourselfer and you have these Dexter axles, then hopefully this video will save you some time!
