This would be my biggest concern.Would also make sure and check any campsites before showing up with it. Some of them won't let homebrew setups like that stay there.
I was thinking that or a hunting setup. Camper and a side-by-side or the likes.you could probably get a Chevy Spark Nissan Versa sized car on that trailer
but why tow a car with you if you have a pickup truck?
they probably brought a few quads with them and went 4 wheeling.
These slide-in campers really don't have much room at all.

I've seen that Ram story before.. but you look at that camper and all the weight way back past the rear bumper and consider the
torsional forces that something like that could load into the center of a truck frame. ( the CAMPER tie's down right at the front of the bed) and just think they were asking for it.. really no different than any other overload..
these stories have also been around and it is worth pointing out Ford has completely redesigned their trucks but there are probably a million of those older Fords on the road still
