Can you imagine how much road rash he has? Why in the world would he not have his seat belt on? The driver was former ESPN sportscaster Cordell Patrick.

 
Wife apparently fell asleep and he tried to grab the wheel just as it hit the barrier.

Must have been one healthy smack to launch him over his wife and out the window.
 
I saw that story a few days ago... until I read the article I was just wondering how the heck did that happen.
yeah, pavement hurts.. lucky he didn't get run over after surviving the slide of his life..
