Dometic and Thetford both make several different seats that are better than the factory seats. If your seat measurements are similar to a household toilet, you may be able to just by one from Home Depot, as long as the mounting points are the same. Make sure you get the slow-close version, they are awesome.
 
I'm going to look into this! I like the idea of a better seat. Never thought about it before reading this!
 
Thanks for the suggestion, I always cringe when I have to clean it, plus for a full winter in AZ I don't want to fight with it anymore.
