We use this Sensorpush bluetooth puck to monitor temperatures in the wet bay during cold weather. It logs the temperature and humidity at 1 minute intervals. You can connect to it from the comfort of your easy chair to download the data to the app on your phone to check on the temperature. The app has upper and lower temperature limits and can be set to alert you if those are exceeded. Sensorpush makes a wifi gateway so you can monitor the temperature from anywhere. The puck we have was $49 a couple years ago.

The drop to 37.7°F was when I had the wet bay door open to connect the black tank flush hose.
