I always wondered where the name Prince Rupert came from, now I know.

This cannery looks very much like the cannery at Icy Straight Point, AK.

Did you drive there?

drove there... I don't think you can get to Prince Rupert without driving thru Prince George.

When did the cannery shut down? I don't think there are many canneries left on the west coast of Canada or in Alaska.
