McKinney Falls state park is on the south side of Austin near the Austin airport. There are several ruins of Tomas McKinney's stone building he build there in the 1850s. There are 78 RV campsites with electric and water hookups, but you'll have to use the dump station as there are no sewer hookups. We saw the upper and lower falls, which are quite interesting. The falls and area around the falls are a great example of the power of moving water to cut through rock.
