The glaciers don't look that big, until you get close to them. I'll post some pictures of the glaciers we saw last August in Alaska. Beautiful and a bit scary when you are close enough to watch them calve. The sound the ice makes as it breaks is unforgettable.

Grand Canyon doesn't look all that big until you try to drive around it. LOL
