How would you clean these potable water totes?

We have three of these totes that were last used about 4 years ago. I put a splash of bleach in them, because I knew they wouldn't be used for a while. A while became a lot longer than a while. They don't smell bad, more like old bleach. I wonder if they can or should be used for drinking water again?

Don't see why not. Rinse them out really well, fill them back up with a water/bleach mixture, let sit, rinse out again.

If they smell ok after that, which they should, I'd use without a second thought.

limpiar con agua.. lather rinse repeat
used to tell a person to put a drop of bleach in water for storage.
city water is chlorinated.

trace amount of bleach won't hurt anyone..
