How Lippert Builds Their Frames

I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of this guys channel, and up to this point I've had a fairly dim view of Lippert. I'd mainly filed them to the back of my mind as a group that was just hacking things together, spending the least amount and charging the most.



I'm actually pretty impressed with their frame facility. I expected a LOT more hands on, but they use robots all over the place to at least process the metal. Really interested to see Part 2 of this.

I'm surprised there are so many robots in the plant. It's like a few people managing a lot of machines. Automation has been advancing in manufacturing probably since the first labor strike a long time ago.

I too kinda want one of those beam weld breaking machines :)
 
Ahh, here's the humans. Lots more of them involved in the assembly.

Makes more sense, I've laid up under mine a fair few times and it didn't look like it was put together with robot welds.

 
one thing I want to know is when are they going to make a change and add some substantial spring mounts instead of the cheesy crap they been using for years
