Glen Canyon Dam panoramas

I had forgotten about these panoramas I made of the Glen Canyon Dam. We were there a couple years ago on a bright sunny day, which makes for some great pictures. I shot the stills on my Sony A3 and stitched the stills together in Lightroom. The PNG files are 10442x3396 pixels and are about 65MB. The RAW pano is about 400MB!

If you have not been at the dam and experienced the visitor's center, it needs to be a bucket list item. You can't get the feel of the massive scale, unless you are there. Look over the back side of the dam at the water, then walk over to the downstream side of the dam. You'll marvel at the incredible head the lake has above the riverbed.
