Garden of the Gods - Colorado Springs

We visited Garden of the Gods on a whim, as it was recommended as a good place to see and we had the time. The park has several unique "Hogbacks", which are geological formations similar to the hoodoos seen in Bryce. The park is small enough to be seen, walking around, in less than an hour and well worth the hour of your time. Technical climbing is allowed in designated areas, you'll see climbers in a couple of my pictures. This is a busy park and parking could be a challenge, so I would suggest an early arrival. We would rate Garden of the Gods as a must if you are in the area.

A great B&B is the Twin Sisters Inn B&B in Manitou Springs. Wake up each morning to a view of Pikes peak. A great place for a second Honeymoon.

And don't forget to visit the Florissant Fossil Beds.

Manitou Springs is one of our favorite places because it's so artsy and eclectic
