Same thing happened a few years ago somewhere else. When the jackasses got caught they said the rocks were dangerous and didn't want them to fall on someone. Some people get enjoyment from destroying things, nothing new.

Pretty much this. And I get to deal with them at their drunkest/angriest on a daily. So much fun. I joke about it all the time, but lots of people can't 'adult' anymore and should probably have been shipped to an island before they turned 21.
