Converting mountain bike tires from tube type to tubeless - motivation? Goat Heads

Update: The tubeless tires are great and got my first puncture riding today. The slime stopped the leak and we rode all the way home.

FWIW Slime is a dang good product, if you use enough of it it would seal the hole in the Exxon Valdez.

tires on my old John Deere were so dry rotted they had gotten to the point where you could not even mow before they would run flat.. a gallon of Slime came to the rescue. .
