Cleaning the inside of the glass in the fireplace

Today I was looking at the fireplace and noticed some dust on the inside of the fireplace glass. This is our second winter camping experience. The last two years winter time in the trailer will be about 6 months. I'll bet the electric heater in the fireplace has run continuously for about 4 months of that time. Dust gets into everything that runs that much.

I figured out there are two screws that keep the glass from sliding up, which is how it comes off. Take those two screws out and the glass lifts right off. Take four more screws out of the flange and the whole fireplace comes out.

I was surprised how little there is to the "fireplace", there is almost nothing to it.

It took about 5 minutes to clean both the glass and the fireplace. Really a simple job.
