I didn't know this existed, thank you! We have driven US-36 from Springfield, IL to Denver, CO, so we drove right past this.

yeah Wayne, only reason I stopped there was to make some coffee...
( it was that exact little rest area in the google pic you posted)
was I was on my way to a visit friend of ours who live in Concordia Ks..
Pretty sure we were on a return leg on our 2016 trip
after being in RMNP. When I am out in that part of the country I generally use the older routes instead of the interstate
and US 36 takes me right north of Concordia KS, all the way from CO.
