What's that part called? AKA 'Vinyl Insert Trim'

you can get that stuff on amazon..Noticed today leaving for work I have a split in the strip that covers the screws on the front of the camper. Should be easy enough to replace if I knew what the stupid thing is called. 'Rubber strip screw cover thingee' isn't turning up much.

I bought a role off Amazon several years ago. I replaced all mine and kept the left over in the storage. It shrinks over time so I added separate pieces and overlapped them. I gave what was left to the new owner in October.

I was sortof amazed this morning. Granted, it was cold outside, but when I got home from work this morning, the replacement trim was here, so I figured I would take a minute and make sure it was the right stuff in case I needed to order something different for my day off on Thursday.
2022 camper and the trim that was on there shattered like glass when I touched it. I knew it was brittle, from the way it broke up top, but I never expected it would just fall apart when I touched it.
Hopefully the new stuff is a little more durable, because the factory sure wasn't.
On another note, I ordered 1" trim, I think mine might be 7/8's, but it looks like the 1" will work just fine.

It probably is called 1 inch. bend to fit..
Alot of that small components stuff on RV's is crap..
whether the replacement part is better is a time will tell thing but at least it is EZ to work with.
but I do have a tendency to believe there are several grades of those sort of common parts used on all RV's
and if the RV builder has a choice they get the cheapest they can use to get it out the door.
