Brought the trailer over this morning to get ready to go on our tour of Utah tomorrow. Adding some water to the tank and flushing out the antifreeze I soon notice water dripping from the bottom edge of the tin near the front. Water in the front storage bay. Turn hose off, take everything out and take a side off the water panel and a threaded fitting from the PEX to the quick connect fitting on the panel is loose. It was loose once before and there's no reason for it. Tightened it back up checked with pressure and no leak. I never use the coiled hose with the quick fitting so I'm going to cap it off when we get back. It's the top fitting with the pipe thread.
Next ran the 12V pump to make sure that's all good and it wouldn't shut off. It's under the stove under a drawer and barely accessible but I was able to reach in and tap it and it stopped. A couple more times and the pressure switch is working again. At least not another leak. A piece of trim fell off in the bedroom last trip got that fixed. One tire was at 52 psi and the rest at 60 so aired all up and just going to watch it. It leaked down over a couple of months. Went to get the propane tanks filled yesterday and one went out of date since last year. Luckily had a spare almost full at home. Always an adventure and happy to be handy. Truck ready to go with fresh oil, fresh grease in the front end and everything else checked out. It get driven little so the brakes are a little squeaky but that will stop.
This is a 3 week trip spending 2-4 days at 8 stops we're interested in. Different than our usual destination trips. Hardly any rain for months but of course some weather is coming in and supposed to be raining tomorrow morning. Trailer is loaded and I'll wait til morning to put the bikes and generator in the bed. And we got a new dog so 3 dogs traveling. We've had 3 for weekend trips but not for a long one. Going to be fun!!
