its just about the Summer Solstice.
I normally get out of bed about 6 am. EST
we lost an hour due to time zone change
so not only am I up at 5 am but it was daylight at 5am here in Alabama.
which explains why I am in no hurry to get way the heck up north this time of year.
I still remember being in Alaska the first time around
and completely losing my sense of time of day and direction..
its weird to go outside at 2 am and it is twilight..
it also ruins any sense of direction when the sun traverses an arc
of 300+ degrees of summer sky and it only gets darkish.
