and I got to thinking I live 10 miles away from the closest hardware store and 15 miles away from the closest auto parts
and how aggravating it was to need that one small thing..
and a store like Harbor Freight, or Amazon or Temu offer a possible solution at a low price.

I purchased boxes of this sort of stuff of the above vendors at a fraction of the price of time and effort inolved to make
buy that one thing I was either missing or didn't have.

I needed an oring when I was travelling across BC and do you know how far I had to drive to find one? 200 miles.

the same for those automotive push pins.. need 1. a pack of six at the local auto zone is 5 bucks and is an hour of my time and 2 gallons of fuel to go get them... and I think the large assortment of push pins were less than 2 dollars from Temu..
