all the preparations have been made.
Every detail I can think of has been detailed.
every maintenance item that needed maintaining has been maintained
so we are off to the Great White North today.

expect something to go wrong, just because it always does.

RV means ruined vacation. :)

Good luck and update us when you can. We are all living vicariously through you.

I became a hi tech redneck and bought a Starlink
Awesome, you'll really like it. Remember that the Starlink antenna is an active phased array. The antenna can aim the energy more than 45 degrees in any direction to follow the satellites as they cross the sky. The clearer shot you have of the sky the better your signal will be.

I've seen people put the antenna on the ground with their rig on one side and a vehicle on the other. The sky is clear where the antenna is pointed, but when the energy is pointed by the antenna to follow a satellite, the object in the way absorbs most of the energy and their internet times out.

we sat the antenna on top of the slide.. can reach it from the steps.
snaked the data cable thru the slide seal...
probably need to figure out a better pass thru for the cable but it works like that.

Exactly what we do. It's quick, easy, and gets the antenna away from objects.
