that isn't my understanding of superheat, but if thats what you they want to call it... basically they are burning off the oils in a flash but that water didn't change temp one bit would be my observation. of course its just one of those drunken Wisconsin things goes without saying. :)

superheat is the measurement of temperature rise in a gas without a corresponding increase in the pressure of that gas.. and you know for a fact that you can't increase the boiling point of water without sealing that water in a container and raisng the pressure.. got something to do with the latent heat of evaporation..
