This is one of the nicest beaches on Lake Michigan, in my opinion
There is a nice bathroom and concessions facility adjacent to the beach, complete with ice cream
Traffic and parking - there will be plenty of parking space IF you get there early, like before 9:00AM, else you'll be competing with thousands who flock there on nice summer days. On Saturday the line of cars waiting to get into the beach was about a mile long at 2:00PM.
Photoglobe from the beach
The beach is huge and clean
"Big Red" the old lighthouse
You can walk out into the lake on the peer. Many people were fishing and catching some pretty big fish.
The sunset was beautiful. We were hoping to see the green flash, but did didn't happen. The guy driving the sailboat had great timing.
