2025 - Casualty of the Cold

The 3D printing is something I've been curious about for a while. CTBob pushed me over the edge with the things he makes. Downloading files and making things is easy. Learning how to use CAD programs is another thing. I've made 2 tools so far, a scraper to pry things off the bed of the printer and a thread hook for wife's weaving hobby. There are files to make plyers and things but I don't really need plastic plyers.

Kinda fun to watch print. I had no idea the printer parts move so fast.

You can choose how much infill it does, this saves filament and the part is lighter. It does this automatically when the program decides how to print the part. Amazing.

Made a phone holder for wife's dad.

you are a better man than me, because I'm past the point of wanting to learn anything. :)
I have the curiosity bug. I read only non-fiction and read a lot, because I have this affliction that I want to know how it works. "It" could be almost anything.

we all have our quirks..

I'd be willing to bet she has hers too.. exception being the well trained husband generally just remains silent about them
while enduring them. :)
My wife has no quirks.
