This is why I love our RV.. we can stay pretty much anywhere. Missouri State Fair, Stockton Lake and in the middle of nowhere Illinois. We did stay at gma's for a day also. With our new 400w of solar we didn't plug in once last weekend, with fall coming it's cool enough to get away from the AC.
I can chat but I don't also don't like to bug people. I'll usually let other initiate the chat.. some people just want to chill away from people other's camp for the social aspects. We can do both, there's two different groups we camp with on occasion but do plenty on our own. I have met some...
There's thousands of tenters so I guess it's too recoupe some of the cost.. but mostly as Wayne says because they can. But I will say things are kept clean and tidy. We just did the float at the campground but there's I think 5 different floats they have available which they'll shuttle you out...
Stayed at Ozarks Outdoor Resort last week/weekend with friends. Second time we stayed there.. What's nice is we were at the halfway point of the campground. So we walked down and got in the Meramec river and floated to the end of the campground about a hour worth and walked back. Can be a pricey...
Life's an adventure or nothing at all.. so the saying goes! lol I'd love to drive a 6.6L and compared it to our 6.0L. Our last trip 80% of our gas fillups were Pilots no issues, now Flying J's the two times we used them the pumps didn't work right. Used Maverick once now I love their layout...
Pretty sure allstays is wrong, Big Elk Camp is actually in Pineville. You go by it to get to the falls. You know not sure on the restaurant good question! There's a concrete foundation on the other side I thought was a power plant but that could be the mill. It is perfect on hot days!
I consider this a hidden gem.. Took our toys with us this time. Had the kayaks and tubes in the trailer. The water is almost perfect or it was. Went to lunch on Saturday and when we came back it was 2-3 inches higher! I did put a pretty good video over on youtube.
Yeah it's a manual. This Festiva isn't in the best shape and it has a salvage title so yeah not too worried about bumps and bruises. Might get one in better shape someday and lift this one a couple inches to play around some.
Some people tend to be in there own worlds.. I think that's the nice way to put it. I commute by bike almost 2k per year, on a weekly basis I see belly covers, limbs (this morning actually) etc dragging and the drivers just keep going like it's nothing. I've seen way too many bolts also which...
Thanks! Yeah that's what we discuss frequently.. we've thought that our next one would be a big Class A but it would really limit us on our stops. We'd have to find a place to stop and take the car off what a pain. My wife surprised me when she said I kinda like the idea of a Class B. That's a...
Arco itself was pretty neat.. I'd like to go back and do some more exploring. Nuclear City was closed still due to covid so didn't get to see it. Should of drove to Atomic City also.
Oh I got pictures not alot since I did a mixture of videos.. Craters of the Moon was pretty interesting. I wouldn't mind staying the night at the campground someday.
Can't forget the tow car!
Tetons from the Lodge..
Yellowstone.. a few..
Craters of the Moon
Recommend walking up this...
Thanks!! Camping summer plans are almost over for the summer 😢😀 Couple weeks ago went out to California for a few days then back to the Tetons/Yellowstone/Craters of the Moon/Salt Lake. Was going to do more in Colorado but had some brake issues and didn't want to chance it.
Just keeping the end caps on... some use hinges and hooks but that was the cheap and easy way to do it. The poles I used metal strap to connect to the frame and vinyl floor for spacers
