Our GD hasn't been perfect but I don't hate it just normal RV crap build quality. I don't think the GD is better rep is warranted.

I’ve found that some people who say when your times up it’s up haven’t really thought about the implications of that. Fun to go down that road a ways. Many life and death things are a matter of inches or half a second. At 60 mph you’re traveling 88’/second.

Same thing happened a few years ago somewhere else. When the jackasses got caught they said the rocks were dangerous and didn't want them to fall on someone. Some people get enjoyment from destroying things, nothing new.

We drove up Poudre canyon past Stove Prairie Rd to a picnic area when we were there. I wouldn't let the dogs in the water, the river has quite a drop and runs really fast. I didn't see any slow water anywhere in the canyon.

I looked at the link someone provided in the parallel BITOG thread. 11 states allow riding in a travel trailer and 23 allow riding in a 5th wheel. Never knew, amazing.

What temp do you think breaks plumbing in RVs?

I looked through it also. You 5th wheel guys need to close up that big gap between the truck and trailer and put aero skirts down the sides. Liked the chart that showed driver satisfaction (power) vs owner satisfaction (mpg).

Would the truck overheat?

Could you even tow your 5er into that wind?

You can't be sure, the water is pretty hard here. I could probably take an air hose into the trailer and blow into the antifreeze intake tubing with the pump running.

You mean incoming water? My valve has city and fresh tank fill positions, not sure how that would blow through the pump. It bottomed at 28 at 6am probably then warmed up. My concern is being safe when it gets into the teens a few times a winter in the future. Should be past freezing nights...

Our old cattledog defends the homestead. The younger one barks from sympathetic detonation unless someone knocks then she gets serious.

They had it towed to an RV place in town and they said around $5k. He had it towed back and found a mobile hispanic mechanic who did it for around $2200 I think. It was a Ford chassis. We joked that somewhere someone was missing wiring and vacuum harnesses in their Ford van. The guy got it...
